Objectives
-
To define policies, monitoring and redeployment techniques, for adaptive and self-healing services. To accomplish this, this WP receives inputs from the other workpackages, in particular WP-JRA-2.2 (Adaptable Coordinated Service Compositions), leveraging design policies for adaptive service composition.
-
Specify and develop registry support for service metadata, QoS attributes, service composition, and federation of service registries using P2P mechanisms and providing ranking information on the basis of historical usage information.
-
To study the requirements for adaptable services and adaptation methodologies and to develop a modular architecture that will be of reference for the design of self- healing services including, for instance, the design mechanisms for allowing adaptation of services while processing clients’ requests and between clients’ requests.
-
Study and evaluate the requirements for an active index-based service registry, which can be successfully used for fast retrieval of matching services in a dynamic ecosystem of services.
Coordination
This activity (WP-JRA-2.3) is coordinated by INRIA.
